The Leadership Ateliers: Barcelona is a two-day immersive training event scheduled for May 5–6, 2025, designed specifically for early-stage design leaders aiming to enhance their leadership skills. Hosted at the Sant Pau Recinte Modernista, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture, the event offers a unique and inspiring learning environment. Limited to 60 participants, this atelier ensures an intimate setting conducive to personalized learning and networking.

The program features a distinguished lineup of coaches and facilitators. The kickoff session is led by Julia Whitney, an executive and leadership coach with over 20 years of experience leading design teams, including her tenure as Executive Creative Director for the BBC’s User Experience and Design department. Additional workshops and masterclasses are conducted by industry experts such as Alex Carbajo (Head of Product at Suntransfers), Christopher Grant (Senior Design Director at Lingokids), Daniel O’Connell (Director of Design at Hello Fresh), and Jenna O’Shea (Director of Product Design at Hello Fresh). These sessions cover a range of topics, including team management, influencing executive decisions, fostering empathy across teams, and communicating design value to stakeholders.
