DocDecoder is a free Chrome extension that uses GPT-4 technology to summarize website legal policies, including Terms of Service and Privacy Policies, in a clear and concise manner. This tool helps users understand the key implications of these policies before agreeing to them. By entering the URL of any legal policy, DocDecoder generates a summary that highlights important points, with potentially harmful terms flagged in red for easy identification.
Each free user can generate two new summaries per month and view an unlimited number of existing ones. Additionally, DocDecoder includes an AI assistant feature that allows users to ask questions about a policy and receive instant, direct answers. The extension is open-source, with its code available on GitHub.
