The Material Design team has released a new Figma design kit for their Material 3 (M3) design system. The kit contains over 160 pre-built UI components, styles, and variants that designers can use and customize within Figma to build interfaces following M3 guidelines.
Some key features of the kit include:
- Over 28 core UI components such as buttons, text fields, sliders, etc.
- Nearly 2,000 styling variants to account for different states like hover, focus, disabled, etc.
- 429 semantic color roles that are compatible with Material’s color system tool
- Inspection capabilities to view component specs and properties directly in Figma
