Alex Widua created Copy & Rotate. The plugin allows you to easily create copies of a selected object and rotate them around in a circle or radial pattern. It handles instantiating the copies as components to be modified individually after creation. The number of copies, rotation radius, ability to skip copies, and sweep angle can all be adjusted. There are some limitations around what types of objects can be rotated.
